Care.com: Hire Caregivers App Reviews

I love how easy this site makes it to find families searching for nannies in my area, but Im constantly on the go and need all of the full-site features to work from the mobile site. I hardly have a moment where I can sit down at a computer. Even the features offered on the app dont always work. I had to upload my profile picture at least a dozen times before it stuck. Its really unfortunate that it doesnt work better because its such a great idea.

The app is simply not as good as using the web based version. Maybe its good for responding to messages but beyond that I strongly prefer the web interface.

I wish you could say the hours you you want scheduled or something like weekdays or weekends

There should be a filter button so that those looking for caregivers can see those in the age range they want and we dont have to spend countless hours flipping through 800+ caregivers. Also, there should be a place that displays when they were last logged in so that one could know if its even worth contacting them! The service is a great idea, however, its very frustrating to use. Money not well spent and time not well spent. The app is very frustrating to use.

There is a filter to search closer. And the app works just fine. & it is a great tool to find a nanny position. Thanks Care.com

Good app, pretty fast, no replys from ANY parents yet which is disappointing

I started care.com very recently and Im content with the app beyond the fact that there is no way to hide requests for work that I dont meet requirements for. I would like a way to filter the results better and hide the ones Ive already read instead of scrolling through hundreds to find my spot again. I havent received any replies yet but Im optimistic because I started rather recently.

The app works very well. I like not having to go online to check things. I will say however some of the messages I receive seem sketchy and not professional from those asking for my services. Not sure if they are spam...

In theory, the app has the chance to be decent, especially considering the desktop site is garbage. But the part that absolutely kills the app is the calendar feature. Its horrible. Your matches rely on your calendar availability. Its just bad. All bad. The best thing is the design - its definitely aesthetically pleasing, but thats about as far as it goes.

The top complaint I have is that you cant flag jobs you would like to apply for, instead you have to go back & try to find them again. You also cant take jobs off the list that you are not interested in. If they can fix these things, 5 stars!

This is a handy app for those of us who cant be tied to a computer all day. However whomever it was who decided to make the messages bounce around while trying to read them is an idiot. Stop trying to be cute finding reliable child care is hard enough I dont need motion sickness with my search.

I dont know if its the parents or the app but I havent had any responses and it shows me "new" when the ad is a week or two old. Kind of frustrating
