Care.com: Hire Caregivers App Reviews

I have been a nanny for over 10 years and have been with care for half of that . I have great reviews and have found work through their site . However today I was kicked of the site for no reason at all . When I went to see why , It states they dont need a reason to kick someone off !!!! I havent done anything wrong and now I have no way to find work . If I could give no stars I would .

I think the app is a great way to have a private business to offer a particular set of skills. However, unfortunately most people are reluctant to reach out to a random person for service. I think its important to be thorough when seeking a professional in any business environment. Therefore references are of the utmost importance. I continue to submit my services to jobs posted hoping I will be able to gain a position that will kick off a better experience with Care.com Thank you!

The one critical piece of info missing from the app, which is available on the pc version, is when the potential candidate last logged in. I dont want to send an email to a person who has not been on Care.com for a few months, let alone over a year. Im wasting my time. But I cant see that critical piece of info. It is also helpful to see if they have logged in and ignored your email. Another glitch Ive noticed is when I tap an email to read from my inbox, it brings up another random email message. I accidentally responded to wrong person because of this.

Do not use this company! They use misleading deceptive language to try to manipulate the price and to make you think that you were getting a better deal when you "downgrade" your account . They actually charge you more by extending the service rather than getting a better price.The customer service was rude and not helpful at all. It was like talking to a robot. They are trying to charge me $40 for using this their service for only three days. What a horrible company. Avoid! Beware!
