**Be careful, they filter reviews.** The positive ones post; the negative one mysteriously keeps disappearing. Thats dangerous regarding childcare, and it makes sense why this astonishingly unfit woman came highly recommended. Will NEVER use this site again! (And the app is horrendous)

I have not had much success with the people on the website for my specific needs, I am picky. However, the functionality and versatility is great. Id recommend this site over all others.

I have found that no matter how professional you are when applying for a job and no matter how well you fit a families needs whether its for their pet or child, parents just wont reply. Even if you send another message asking for updates on the opportunity, you probably wont hear from them and its very frustrating.

This app works excellent and help people to find jobs as right persons for their beloved ones.

I have disliked many apps, but never so much as this one that I had to write a review. I thought this app was for professionals, when really, anyone, including child molesters, can post their services for childcare. For $45 you dont get jack crap except more room in your inbox for loonies to fill up. If you dont pay the extra $$ on TOP of the $45 when you sign up, then you have to pay close to $60 a pop for background checks!! Then they put up a disclaimer that you cant trust the background checks. WTH??? Im sure not everyone on this app looking for a job is heinous, and in fact there may be some great ones Ill never get the chance to meet because this app is not well regulated. Its exactly like Craigslist, except Craigslist is free to browse and contact users. Not nearly worth the money, time or headache this app has caused us.

The app is good but not really for initially setting up your profile. Its best to do that on your laptop. But app is good for receiving and sending messages and applying to jobs

Trying to reply to an email from a company and the app stopped working. App says my inbox is empty, I logged out and tried to log back in and now Im locked out. Says I dont have an Internet connection. Website isnt working either. Lovely.

The app is attractive and somewhat user-friendly, but also needs work. I have a paid account. I posted a job and needed to edit it, but it wont let me do so. Then, my job post got closed somehow and it wont let me repost b/c it says "it appears you have tried to use HTML...". The app is adding the HTML whenever you originally submit, so if you go back into it the tags are there. Again, cant edit, so cant remove them. Cant remove them, so job wont post. Errors in messaging, adding HTML tags there and at times showing both my msgs and the other persons all under the same name/picture.

I love the opportunities that Care.com has provided me! Very necessary in todays world.

If you are adamant about finding a job and are using this app, I suggest manually checking it every hour or so. I allowed virtually every single form of notification on this app and received none. Also, they used to email you instantly when you got a response and now they just send an email telling you that you have "x messages in your inbox" late at night when communication is over for the day. Ive lost two potential jobs over this. Ive had luck using care.com throughout my entire nannying career but their app needs help!

I like the layout of the app. I have been using this app for about a week now. Hope I get a booking soon!

It is at your fingertips and to use as you seem important for you, whether you need services or are providing a service to others. I need to be available to others looking for what I can offer and this site makes that very possible. Thanks

Trying to hire a tutor sent over 20 messages and only 1 person replied with a phone interview on the listing she said she wanted $10-$15 hr but when I talked to her she wanted $25-$45 an hr be honest!! Quit wasting peoples time!! Wish I could give 0 stars and I want a refund for my $40 month subscription!

Super easy to use. Only problem Ive had is the availability calendar doesnt go out far enough into the future to plan ahead for vacations. Havent gotten any jobs yet, but it is easy to apply.

This app is very user-friendly, Ill give it that much.. That is about it though. After attempting exhausted leave to find even a side job or part-time job and a new area, as a newly married person with the job market that demand you have a degree for even administrative work and menial tasks; I thought to myself, care.com! That sounds like a good enough place to try to make a little bit of income while Im also looking for a study or paying job! I was however very wrong in this thought process. I have had people on here too I believe to be exact seeking out childcare service. After replying to their request and questions and offering to meet at a place of their choice in public for an interview for the services that they are seeking, I never received a reply back. More so, I have reached out to people who have posted that they would like someone to look after their children before and after school or to take them to school in the morning. And yet again no reply from these people supposedly needing someone to help them with the huge task and responsibility of caring for their precious children. And my posting on here that they need someone, that tells me that they cannot afford the childcare provided by major companies such as many Landon another child care facilities. And as I well know they are very expensive, so finding someone whos looking for a little bit of extra money and who likes children and spending time with them and caring for them would probably be a lot less expensive for these families. Furthermore, to have a profile to pet sit and dog walk you need to pay for a background check yet to look after children you need none. If youve taken the time to read this and youre looking for services for child care, pet care, grocery shopping and running errands, meal prepping, transportation, and light cleaning; then why dont you ever respond to the people who reach out to you who are looking to make a little bit of extra money, and willing to do these things that you dont have time to do like Buy groceries for your family and look after your children?

Please allow us to eliminate jobs we are not interested in. I did not realize parents pay money for this service. It befuddles me they never respond one way or the next!! However that is not your fault. I have found 2 jobs so far after 3 weeks on this as a nanny. However, I do check it relentlessly and I agree that MANY of these you dont post for reading until after hrs of business.

I signed up to find a nanny and paid for a 3 minute month subscription in its entirety. Within 4 hours, my account was terminated and the only reason given was that they can terminate for any reason. This is the biggest scam ever! Im so upset.
